Yearbook Distribution
Yearbooks will be distributed on Friday, May 17 during Ace A & B. Books will be given out in the ACES Center. Wednesday and Thursday are the last days to purchase a yearbook for $75. The cost increases to $80 on Friday. No books will be given out prior to Friday's Ace Time.
Student of the Week - May 6, 2013
Brieon Holley, an outstanding student and athlete at John A. Holmes, is the Chowan Herald Senior of the week for May 6, 2013. He has been involved in football and track and has received several awards such as the Academic Athletic Award and Most Valuable Player.

Senior Trip Information
The Class of 2013 is planning their senior trip from May 24-26, 2013. Students will be taking a Carnival Cruise, "Cruise to Nowhere" out of Norfolk, Va. For more information regarding the trip, please click on the links below.

Spring Athletic Schedules
Spring athletic schedules have been posted under the Athletics link on the left. Also, next fall's football schedules have been posted.
Help Us AC the JAH Gym
JAHHS and Chowan Metal Recycling are sponsoring a Scrap Metal Drive to help purchase air conditioning for the gym. Take your unwanted items containing metal to Chowan Metal Recycling and they them you are donating to the JAHHS AC Fundraiser. They will guide you through the donation process and all proceeds will go to JAHHS.

2012-2013 Yearbook Information
If you order your yearbook before December 31, 2012, the cost is only $70.00. If you order between January 1, 2013 and the day prior to distribution day, the cost increases to $75.00. The cost of the yearbook after it arriveds is $80.00
