Students and faculty from our Danish partner school, Gribskov Gymnasium, will be visiting John A. Holmes High School and northeastern N.C. from March 4-10, 2012.  We are extremely excited about this upcoming visit and are looking forward to renewing friendships that have been created over the two years we have partnered with Gribskov.  The students and faculty will be staying with host families here in Chowan County. Let's band together as a community to welcome our Danish visitors in March and give them a warm North Carolina welcome to our home.

The annual Student/Faculty Basketball Game will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012.  Tip off will be at 6:00 p.m. sharp.  The game is sponsored by the Spanish Club and the proceeds will go to the 2012 Relay for Life.  Participants should see Mrs. Christopher in Mod 4 to sign up and pay the playing fee. Admission will be $3.00 per person and concessions will be available.
